The Race to Save One Life
East Park Research was founded in Nevada by Gordon Melcher in 1995. Gordon started the company with one goal, to save his son’s life.
After his son contracted HIV, Gordon Melcher began seeking a cure to save his son’s life. He could not outrun the devastating illness that eventually claimed the young man’s life, but his search led him to medical experts and researchers who had devoted their professional careers to “cracking the code” that would permit them to access the wondrous healing properties of the olive leaf.
By calling upon the medical connections he had acquired over a long and successful professional career and by financing still further research and development, Gordon eventually saw the triumphant result of a natural remedy so effective that renowned medical expert Dr. Morton Walker devoted an entire book to it. Since then, doctors and clinics around the world have been raving about the astonishing results they are experiencing with their patients using the powerful product from the olive tree, which has a 7,000-year-old folk medicine tradition.
Scientific research was conducted before 1995, but it was not until EPR began investigating the benefits of d-Lenolate, that a clinical application of the natural olive leaf extract was developed. It was at this time that EPR’s Olive Leaf Extract, which was named d-Lenolate, was born. d-Lenolate’s formulation is based on a patented extraction process of selected olive leaves that contain oleuropein, the miracle element found in certain olive trees. The molecules (isomers) are delicate and the extraction process can destroy some of the effectiveness of olive leaf extract. EPR believes the extraction process is the key. EPR, Inc. Continued to research the product, as additional benefits were identified.
Gordon Melcher continued to search for more alternative remedies, either by using d-Lenolate as the base ingredient to develop other product line or combining d-Lenolate with other herbs for further immunity enhancement such as d-Lenolate with Manapol. Gordon Melcher has since retired from the daily operations, but East Park Research continues to be a family owned business, operated by his grandson, Geoff Melcher.
As the company celebrates its 25th anniversary, the future looks bright. East Park Research continues to grow, build partnerships, and expand into new countries. Leadership has renewed its effort to research and develop new ways to bring healing and healthy homeopathic supplements to our customers.
